Photography Training

In this session we learnt how to take what is recognized as good photos incorporating the lighting training we had previously got. We were taught about always remembering the purpose of the photos, the example we were given was if we wanted to take a photos of a person face things such as necklaces or the colour of there top should not be included in the picture.

Also whilst at photography training we learnt about the 'Rule of thirds' this is an imaginary grid usually 3x3 outlines the clear levels of an image.
so in this case.
  • the sea is the lowest level
  • the buildings are the middle level
  • and the sky is the highest level
Finally in photography training we looked at exposure this is controlling how much light is allowed into the iris of the camera and can significantly effect the look of the photo. So for this reason we have decided to use the Cannon 450D These camera's have an in-built 'P' feature which provides the user with autmatic exposure settings, in some rare cases you do need to adjust the exposure.
